House Cleaning Cost in Vernon: A Plain-Language Guide to What You'll Pay

What professional cleaning actually costs in Vernon, what drives the price up or down, and how to get an accurate quote for your home.

The house cleaning cost in Vernon depends mostly on three things: the size of your home, the type of clean, and how often you book. At Vernon Home Care Solutions, a standard recurring clean starts from $120 for a studio or one-bedroom home, a deep clean starts from $220, and a move-in or move-out clean starts from $265. Larger homes step up from there, and recurring clients save between 5% and 15% depending on their schedule. All prices are in Canadian dollars and reflect standard property conditions.

Here's how the pricing breaks down, and what affects your final quote.

What Drives the House Cleaning Cost in Vernon

Home size. More bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage mean more time. Bathrooms in particular add time because of fixtures, glass, and grout.

Type of clean. A standard maintenance clean takes less time than a deep clean, and a move-out clean of an empty home involves the most detail of all.

Frequency. Regular clients get a discount because the home stays in better shape between visits.

Condition. Homes that need extra attention may be quoted individually after a walk-through or video consultation.

Location. Vernon, Coldstream, Okanagan Landing, and Predator Ridge have no travel fee. Surrounding communities have a small travel fee.

    Standard and Recurring Cleaning

A standard clean keeps your home consistently fresh and includes all living areas, the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas. Starting prices are:

    • Studio or 1 bed, 1 bath (up to about 700 sq ft): $120
    • 2 bed, 1 bath (up to about 1,000 sq ft): $150
    • 2 bed, 2 bath (up to about 1,200 sq ft): $170
    • 3 bed, 2 bath (up to about 1,600 sq ft): $190
    • 3 bed, 2.5 bath (up to about 2,000 sq ft): $215
    • 4 bed, 2.5 bath (up to about 2,400 sq ft): $245
    • 4 bed, 3 bath (up to about 2,800 sq ft): $275

Recurring discounts come off the standard rate: 15% for weekly, 10% for bi-weekly, and 5% for monthly.

    Deep Cleaning

A deep clean is a top-to-bottom reset, recommended for first-time clients, seasonal cleans, or any home that hasn't been professionally cleaned in three months or more. It starts from $220 for a studio or one-bedroom home, which typically takes three to four hours, and from $385 for a three-bedroom, two-bath home, which typically takes six to seven hours.

    Move-In and Move-Out Cleaning

Move cleans are the most detailed because they include inside cabinets and drawers, full appliance detailing, and wall spot cleaning. They start from $265 for a studio or one-bedroom and from $475 for a three-bedroom, two-bath home. Pricing assumes the home is empty.

    Short-Term Rental Turnovers

For Airbnb and vacation rental hosts, turnovers are priced per visit, starting from $85 for a studio or one-bedroom and $160 for a three-bedroom, two-bath property. A guest damage or inventory report with photos is included free.

    Add-Ons and Hourly Work

Some jobs are easier to add on than to build into every visit. Add-ons include inside oven detailing ($35), inside fridge or freezer detailing ($35), and a baseboard detail ($40). For custom work, the standard hourly rate is $40 per hour with a two-hour minimum, and post-construction or renovation cleaning is $60 per hour.

    Travel Fees

There's no travel fee for Vernon, Coldstream, Okanagan Landing, or Predator Ridge. Armstrong and Spallumcheen add $20, Lumby and Enderby add $25, and Lake Country, Oyama, Kelowna, and West Kelowna add $30.

How to Get an Accurate Quote

The easiest way to get an exact price is to request a booking and include a few details in the notes: your home's size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the type of clean you want, and any areas you'd like us to focus on. We'll contact you to confirm the exact time and pricing before anything is booked.
